Exterior Vertical Horizontal Cap - This installation requires an 18-inch clearance between the top of the cap and the roof overhang. If this is not possible, you must go up through the eave and terminate vertically. If the pipe exits on a side of the house that is subject to high winds, then a high-wind cap should be used in this application.
